So Erica will be turning 6 in just a couple of weeks. She really showed me tonight how grown up she is becoming when she came in the room with her favorite Hannah Montana folder with a ziploc baggie in it with a heart pencil, a tiny box of nerds and a note saying "Dear Summer, I am sorry. Please come back and play again. Love Erica" Now to back up a little, earlier this week, her friend Summer was over playing for an hour. Erica was being obnoxious, kind of show off, turning lights on and off really fast, calling Summer, Sunburn, things like that. Well turns out, Summer had hurt feelings and felt like Erica was being mean and told her family she didn't want to come back. Little brother tells Erica, who tells me, I ask the other mother, and have a little talk with Erica about how this kind of behavior hurts peoples feelings. Erica went to school, and that was the end of it. I did plan on having a longer discussion about it later, but hadn't yet, when she brought me her note and gift. Hours later. I was so proud. She thought of and wrote the letter and made the "care package" all on her own. So of course, I cried like a little baby. Proud tears....

Dirty Feet

There is nothing like dirty feet and sandals to prove summer has arrived! Me and the kids have been going out and enjoying the sunshine everyday. I didn't realize how quickly a little fair skinned child could burn in 70 degree weather, but little Amber has taught me. Poor little girl has burned arms and shoulders. I am now applying sunscreen on the children every morning. Erica and Allison have always just tanned, but I am taking no chances. Baby Dee is fair like Amber so I am glad he was napping when said burn occured. LOL

SpRiNg 2010

So just getting started on this blog, I'd like to introduce my family. My husband Grant is a hard working, loving father and husband. I am the typical stay at home mommy. Our oldest daughter Erica Camille is in kindergarten, and almost 6 years old. Allison Jean is our 3 1/2 year old who wants to be just like her older sister. We like them both exactly how they are. Amber Kay is the youngest girl so far and is the little mommy to her baby brother Dee. He is 9 months and she is just a month shy of 2. We do have another little blessing on its way. Don't know if it is a boy or girl yet, but promise its one of the two. LOL
